01 Who we are
Sol Alma Resort, Inc. (“Sol Alma”, “we”, “us”) is the operator of the retreat in Sitio Danacbunga, Botolan, Zambales, Philippines, and of the website you are reading. We are the party responsible for the personal information described here.
We are currently in pre-opening. Most data we hold today is a name and an email address on our waitlist, plus the occasional reservation enquiry.
02 What we collect
We only collect what you give us, plus a little basic technical data:
- Waitlist — the email address you submit to join the pre-opening list.
- Reservation enquiries — your name, email, phone, requested dates, villa, and any add-on experiences you select in the booking form.
- Messages — anything you write to us by email.
- Technical — your browser type and approximate region, gathered in aggregate so we can keep the site working.
03 Why we use it
- To write to you — sparingly — about the opening, and to answer your enquiries.
- To hold and confirm a villa request, and to plan your stay and any experiences.
- To keep the website secure and understand, in aggregate, how it is used.
We rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time) for the waitlist, and on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us.
06 How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until you ask us to remove them, or until a year after we open if you never book. Reservation enquiries are kept for as long as needed to plan your stay and meet our record-keeping obligations.
07 Your rights
Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (and equivalent rules elsewhere), you may ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Just write to us — we will not make it difficult.
